Meet Matt


Matt Goff was born into a military family and spent his early years in Northwest Arkansas. He attended Fayetteville High School and graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1980 with a BA in Radio and TV Broadcasting. After completing ROTC, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army. Following a 30-year career, he retired from the Army in 2014 and returned to NWA.
He has been married to his wife, Amy, for 44 years and together they have seven children and 22 grandchildren. Matt runs his own business and performs disaster relief missions with different organizations, including 8 Days of Hope and the Arkansas Southern Baptist Disaster Relief teams. Matt and his wife reside in Springdale and attend First Baptist Church in Fayetteville.
